Antoine Lecoutteux started his professional career as a scientist at Philips Car System in
Eindhoven (NL) in the Navigation System department. He was leader of communication
aspecs of Eureka- CARMINAT project and Drive v1029, promoting RDS-TMC as a European
standard.
He then had an R&D experience for car radio development for several car manufacturers in
Europe as a project leader in Mannesmann-VDO in France. He became a software manager at
VDO Car Communication in 1994 and then in 2000 he joined Philips Communication Systems
in Paris to lead the UMTS program dealing both with the development of the multimedia system
and the dual-mode modem.
Since 2002 he works at FT R&D as the program manager for Telematics in the mobile and
multimedia domain.
Antoine Lecoutteux has a Masters degree of Ecole Centrale de Lyon and of Télécom Paris and
a MBA of Paris-Sorbonne.
